Pagini at Woodlands
Woodlands is a specialty independent running 3 Bay Area stores, small-format at about 2,336 sq ft each, indexing high on clean-organic versus other Bay Area grocers.
Pagini isn’t on Woodlands’ shelf yet in any of its 3 stores. The opening: 1 category where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with World Market Pagani Cheese And Mushrooms Tortellini in Tortellini Pasta.
Woodlands stocks tortellini pasta thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
The more differentiated opening is tortellini pasta: Woodlands stocks only 3 there, so World Market Pagani Cheese And Mushrooms Tortellini stands out rather than blending in.
Woodlands merchandises 1 of the 1 category the brand sells.
no strong clean/diet signal either way.
brand excitement 30/100.
enters a thin tortellini pasta shelf as a point of difference.

Not here yet, but the shelf is real: a clean first door into a category the brand runs deep in.
What to bring to land
Pagini’s SKUs Woodlands doesn’t carry yet, ordered by how many other Bay Area grocers already stock them.
