Tradition Briarde at Woodlands
Woodlands is a specialty independent running 3 Bay Area stores, small-format at about 2,336 sq ft each, indexing high on clean-organic versus other Bay Area grocers.
Tradition Briarde isn’t on Woodlands’ shelf yet in any of its 3 stores. The opening: 1 category where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with Brillat Savarin Cheese in Brie.
Woodlands stocks brie thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
The more differentiated opening is brie: Woodlands stocks only 9 there, so Tradition Briarde Brillat Savarin Cheese stands out rather than blending in.
