Journeyman isn’t on Andronico's Community Markets’ shelf yet in any of its 7 stores. The opening: 4 categories where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with Triple Double Smoked Brat in Bratwurst.
Andronico's Community Markets stocks bratwurst thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
Andronico's Community Markets carries salami in real depth, 47 SKUs against a fleet median of 15.5, so a new entry there is the Nth option, and its per-unit price would likely sit near the top of a crowded shelf. The more differentiated opening is bratwurst: Andronico's Community Markets stocks only 8 there, so Journeyman Triple Double Smoked Brat stands out rather than blending in. Lead with the bratwurst, and position the salami as a finishing or gift item.
