Nosalt® at Bi-Rite Market
Bi-Rite Market is a specialty independent running 5 Bay Area stores, small-format at about 2,881 sq ft each, indexing high on better-for-you versus other Bay Area grocers.
Nosalt® isn’t on Bi-Rite Market’s shelf yet in any of its 5 stores. The opening: 1 category where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with Original Sodium-Free Salt Alternative in Salts.
Bi-Rite Market stocks salts thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
The more differentiated opening is salts: Bi-Rite Market stocks only 10 there, so NoSalt® Original Sodium-Free Salt Alternative stands out rather than blending in.
Bi-Rite Market merchandises 1 of the 1 category the brand sells.
no strong clean/diet signal either way.
brand excitement 30/100.
enters a thin salts shelf as a point of difference.
