Caulipower at Target
Target is a discount independent running 6 Bay Area stores, indexing high on clean-organic versus other Bay Area grocers.
Caulipower is a food brand focused on providing healthier, convenient meal options by reinventing traditional comfort foods with a vegetable twist.
Caulipower isn’t on Target’s shelf yet in any of its 6 stores. The opening: 5 categories where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with Four Cheese Pizza Snacks in Frozen Pizza Snacks.
Target stocks frozen pizza snacks thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 2 other Bay Area grocers.
Target carries frozen pizzas in real depth, 49 SKUs against a fleet median of 20.5, so a new entry there is the Nth option, and its per-unit price would likely sit near the top of a crowded shelf. The more differentiated opening is frozen pizza snacks: Target stocks only 8 there, so Caulipower Four Cheese Pizza Snacks stands out rather than blending in. Lead with the frozen pizza snacks, and position the frozen pizzas as a finishing or gift item.
Target merchandises 6 of the 7 categories the brand sells.
no strong clean/diet signal either way.
an established national brand with proven demand.
enters a thin frozen pizza snacks shelf as a point of difference.

What to bring to land
Caulipower’s SKUs Target doesn’t carry yet, ordered by how many other Bay Area grocers already stock them.
Presence and depth are measured from Target’s current Bay Area storefront: its online catalog plus our shelf photos, a partial view. A widely-distributed brand shown as a new door may already be carried through channels we don’t index. Target profile →
