Oregon's Wild Harvest isn’t on Rainbow Grocery Cooperative’s shelf yet. The opening: 2 categories where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with True Cinnamon Ceylon in Dried Cinnamon.
Rainbow Grocery Cooperative stocks dried cinnamon thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
Rainbow Grocery Cooperative carries other spices in real depth, 19 SKUs against a fleet median of 6, so a new entry there is the Nth option, and its per-unit price would likely sit near the top of a crowded shelf. The more differentiated opening is dried cinnamon: Rainbow Grocery Cooperative stocks only 9 there, so Oregon's Wild Harvest True Cinnamon Ceylon stands out rather than blending in. Lead with the dried cinnamon, and position the other spices as a finishing or gift item.
