The Good Bean at Pacific Market
Pacific Market is a specialty independent running 2 Bay Area stores.
The Good Bean isn’t on Pacific Market’s shelf yet in any of its 2 stores. The opening: 2 categories where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with Chickpeas, Chili Lime, Crunchy in Other Snacks.
Pacific Market stocks other snacks thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
Pacific Market carries canned chili in real depth, 16 SKUs against a fleet median of 6, so a new entry there is the Nth option, and its per-unit price would likely sit near the top of a crowded shelf. The more differentiated opening is other snacks: Pacific Market stocks only 4 there, so The Good Bean Chickpeas, Chili Lime, Crunchy stands out rather than blending in. Lead with the other snacks, and position the canned chili as a finishing or gift item.
Pacific Market merchandises 3 of the 3 categories the brand sells.

What to bring to land
The Good Bean’s SKUs Pacific Market doesn’t carry yet, ordered by how many other Bay Area grocers already stock them.
Presence and depth are measured from Pacific Market’s current Bay Area storefront: its online catalog plus our shelf photos, a partial view. A widely-distributed brand shown as a new door may already be carried through channels we don’t index. Pacific Market profile →
